They have a somewhat similar facial structure, I think. Especially in the eyes, nose and mouth. Cheekbones a bit different but still similar.

2·2 months agoYou can go back to Counterstrike for that. Was a free mod for half life, then one day you needed Steam to play it. It’s how Steam was released and part of why there was such massive uptake early. Biggest game in the world at the time.
Those were the days. I never thought installing mp3 player software would give me a rootkit, but it did……

Is linking a Rick roll a meme? I thought memes were reused images with text, guessing the definition is shifting. I saw someone calling numa numa a meme the other day.
I mean, it’s still just a bait and switch. I never really got why doing it with Rick Astley was groundbreaking.
It was over ICQ, IRC or msn messenger back when all I had was dialup. A lot of modern internet culture seems to be appropriated from the kind of old web ne’er-do-wells I hung out with on IRC back in the day. Didn’t think to keep records tbh. The original ‘rickroll’ was goatse or lemon party (nsfw, tbh I would not google those if you don’t know what they are).
I do remember getting Rick rolled with Never gonna give you up by a counter strike clan team member over ventrilo back in 2005. It must be 2004-05 because the clan I was in disbanded after Oct. 2005.
I was def getting Rick rolled before that.
6·3 months agoHe sold a majority stake in the Mavs. That’ll be where most of the tax bill comes from. Wants to use the money for something else. Still working with the team operationally.

Already am mate. Already am. They’re playing early Chillis , pearl jam and the occasional nirvana track like something in the way these days. I’m just waiting for Foo fighters and Queens of the Stone Age to become classic rock. They’re only a couple of years away.
Those guys, blind melon and kyuss are the 3 bands from the 90s the kids who are rehashing my teenage years as retro are sleeping on.
It’s like that everywhere. The US is not an outlier. You need quality education systems in place as well or you can’t educate your future medical professionals. This is how democracy dies. Undereducated sickly populace will vote for whoever comes off the top rope with the funniest/angriest shit. We were sunk as soon as education funding cuts began worldwide. Early 90s in my country, probably similar elsewhere.
