You can host your domain pretty much anywhere and they will provide mail hosting as part of most packages. From there, it’s up to you to talk to their servers to manage your mails, typically through IMAP.
Hosting companies will be whitelisted as far as mail routing is concerned.
Why should it though, it’s just an agreed upon tool.

Data transfers have always been in base 10. And disc manufacturers are actually right. If anything, it’s probably Microsoft that has popularised the wrong way of counting data.
It has nothing to do with wanting to make disks be bigger or whatever.
It’s an official language of their country, why wouldn’t they learn it?
