Totally agree. My immediate thought was that if this goes through, the style of defending and pressing currently employed will no longer be possible. The game will become much less exciting. I don’t think so. Clearly, nothing has stopped the ref’s from giving bigger teams red cards. Pretty sure Liverpool has the most reds against them this year. Spurs went down to 9 men last week. I don’t think Brentford have had any reds?
