One thing LotR does very well: lets men show emotions that aren’t anger. Frodo smiles, shouts Gandalf’s name excitedly, cracks a joke with him, and gives him a hug. That’s how you know they’re old friends.

It’s only a scam if they’re being misleading. I’ve never heard anyone say “get an art degree, you’ll get rich!” It’s not a scam to study art simply because you want to develop your knowledge and talents in a structured way. Should art degrees cost as much as they do? Probably not, but “expensive” and “scam” are two different things.
Conversations about language aside, the error is that “Monday” is a string with a length of 6.
“LGBT” doesn’t have to be a conscience or religion belief. You can just state that heterosexual marriage against your beliefs.
If the choices are “enthusiastic genocide” and “genocide with some light tut-tutting”, then democracy failed.
Strange to see Zullie outside of the FromSoft space, but also, 100% accurate point.
The new attitude, coupled with a cost of living crisis that leaves many younger generations unable to afford a party lifestyle, is having a knock-on effect on the nighttime economy.
Title is blatantly misleading. Gen Z wants to party as much as their predecessors did, they literally just don’t have the money to do so.
Among other things, the anti-abortion crowd loved it because they thought it supported their views.
So I guess sashimi is a sandwich, but cannoli is sushi. Flawless logic.
For Japanese specifically, I’m using Renshuu (free) and Wanikani for kanji ($9/mo) and loving both of them.
Because it turns out that conforming to what your parents and your community believe is way more influential to the average person than objective truth.
Tapir -> Rhinoceros -> Elephant
Remember when people were taking pot shots at power stations a couple years ago? We’ll probably have more stupid shit like that.
You forgot the part where millions of people still write in Donald Trump based on the widespread conspiracy that he’s still alive, and we get to figure out what happens when a state tries to elect a dead man.
“What’s your max HP again? Just checking real quick.”
If they’re struggling, then maybe they should pick up a second job, maybe cancel some of those subscription services?
Blighttown.
Celeste. Not much to say except that it’s a fantastic little platformer.
For what it’s worth, I totally agree. We’ve "lesser evil"ed our way into voting for genocide, the greatest evil. Sorry that things are going to get worse under Trump, but there is a 0% chance that I vote for either of the genocide candidates, even if one is worse than the other. Democrats will have to lose elections until they field an anti-genocide candidate for the presidency (I can’t believe that’s a qualification now).
