Is the DOJ going after him?

If you’re going to put words in my mouth, please serve them with fries and a side salad.
Meanwhile, people on the Left will spend weeks arguing the difference between Socialist and Social Democrat.
So, Trump is pardoning corrupt Dems, and throwing staunch GOPs like John Bolton under the bus.
It’s so cute when people act like Trump sees anyone else as a human being.
We were all born with no other purpose save to magnify his glory.
set a timer. 45 seconds is a long time to talk.
It may be heresy but I really don’t think the 90 million folks who stayed home are progressives who were waiting for a hard core Socialist. They are waiting for a really cool guy like John Kennedy or a war hero like Eisenhower. It’s sad, but we need a bigger TV star, not a super progressive.
When everything is shit it’s impossible to separate out the biggest problems.
Look at some of the unforced error Trump has pulled. The California water fiasco, where he dumped millions of gallons of water that farmers desperately needed. None of the water did anything to help the wildfires. Complete loss. He fired the board of the Kennedy Center and installed himself as culture czar. In both cases we see that Trump has no one around him who can guide/control his stupidest impulses.
The good news is he’s going to make a lot of stupid mistakes that will force people to hate him. The bad news is that he’s going to make a lot of mistakes that will hurt people.
This and the California water fiasco show that Trump has no one around him who can control his stupidest impulses. Pretty much every other President had a Chief of Staff [or equivalent] who’d keep the boss focused and stop them from making half-cocked errors.
I only post this because I saw someone say that they’d never vote because Carlin had a comedy routine where he said he’d never vote.
Carlin was an iconoclast; I think he’d hate the idea that people were trying to turn him into an icon. He was an entertainer and happily worked with Fox Television to make a sit com.
I forgot about it when I made the original comment.
Len Deighton wrote a one volume history of Hitler and the War. “Blitzkrieg” uses the idea that Hitler was successful as long as he kept moving fast. The other political parties let him become leader because they thought that he’d follow the law and let the next election occur. Then the French thought he’d respect Belgium’s neutrality. As soon as he stopped moving forward and had to play defense he was lost.
In 1960 the minimum wage was $1.00/hour and the cost of the average US home was $11,000.00
Flood of shit.
They do so many shitty things that same people are overwhelmed. Remember, all Donnie has to do is cut off the funding; it’s time consuming for the opposition to fight back.
This thought just came to me.
George Orwell is writing ‘1984.’
He’s going over his notes, thinking about how best to portray evil.
“Maybe I should have a thing where Big Brother denounces all science and tells the people to trust in clean air to stay healthy…”
Then Orwell decides that’s too fucking crazy and would dilute the power of the book because no one would be that fucking evil.

The people who don’t want immigrants coming in to the US have no problem leaving the US for ex-pat living.
Really great novel about the early days of comics.
If you like comics, you’ll enjoy this book.
Always remember that the USA wasn’t fighting Hitler when this comic came out.
The kids who wrote it were putting their own opinions out there.
Someone else pointed out that putting in the original artwork weakened the mountain; putting in another head might cause the whole thing to fall apart. So maybe not such a bad idea…
I think I understand your point now.
I saw a lot of people going off on how Genocide Joe was as bad as Hitler, and they could never vote for him.
Haven’t heard too much from them lately.
