I’m using Posteo for over a decade now. It just works, pricing is simple, never had any complaint.

AI Generated Images@sh.itjust.works•Galerians - Requiem Manentia (AI COMIC)English
1·13 days agoDang that’s cool! I didn’t realize this is leaning on the Galerians video game, didn’t know that existed – I like this a lot, very cool idea!
I’m still curious though, what model did you use to generate these, and how did you enforce the consistent style across different images?

2·13 days agoI think this is interesting! It doesn’t look polished enough to me yet, I found typos here and there, and the story is a bit flat. But cool that you share it! How did you generate these if I may ask? How did you get it to generate in a consistent style? I found that quite cool.

Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•"Russia is being led to slaughter", Russian complains of the deteriorating state of the Russian army and economy.
5·19 days agoThanks @LaFinlandia@sopuli.xyz - I appreciate your work and I follow the content you post here closely. I have no reason to believe that you share anything malicious.
However, you’re an anonymous stranger on the internet to me, and reason suggests that I should double-check my sources. You know the space way better that I do: Do you know of a media outlet that verifies these kinds of videos where I could find journalistic validation?

16·20 days agoI’m never sure what to think of these videos. How reliable are the sources? Like I don’t speak Russian, and I honestly can’t even tell if it’s a deepfake or not.
Any suggestions on how to validate these?

Programming@programming.dev•We can't just call AI-generated code slop anymore
31·25 days agoI feel you @xoron@programming.dev. At work, my entire team uses AI coding assistants. I see that there are many tasks that benefit from AI assisted coding, and I see the team shipping more as a result.
If you ask me, it’s AI-slop only if it’s low effort, low quality contribution. But you can absolutely use AI tooling to create high quality code, and some of the best engineers in my team do so.
I think there’s a lot of negative sentiment in this community towards AI, and I personally think that denying that AI is a useful tool for writing more and better code at this point in time is somewhat denying reality.
I‘d kill for this after a workout, looks so good
Aww, no reason to regret being who you are 🤗 good for you that you know your weaknesses and who you are, takes a lot to do so!

29·2 months agoSo here’s the thing with today’s prosthetics: they kinda suck. For example this 2022 study reports that 44% of amputees rejected their prosthetic:
Most responders complained about the comfort (60.87%, n = 14) as well as the weight of the device (52.17%, n = 12).
What apparently goes a long way is accepting the missing limb and living with it. And I guess religion does help with that.

Epstein was persecuted because the frigging Miami Herold reported about his abuses in 2018. He would have continued raping and trafficking kids for who knows how long without that. In a world where the media is owned by Epstein, that won’t happen.

4·4 months agoHave you considered starting a cheap watch sub? I recently bought a quartz watch from the 70s for cheap and I’m refurbishing it (new strap, had the watchmaker oil the mechanics for 10 bucks). I’d hang out in that sub!

You sound pretty cool, kudos!
