Diesel is usually cheaper in Germany because of lower taxes on it. It only gets turned around in crisis situations like the current Iran war because commercial vehicles and industry use it too.

Well, if he adds the bullet hole to the throat he may have better luck.

the future customers, do not care for physical media.
You did not understand my comment. They may not care about the physical media, but they will care about the fuckeries a Sony with a total monopoly over playstation games will force on people. Dictating higher prices without even the slightest competition will only be the beginning.

That’s not an argument to take the same choice away from future customers.
We made the choice for mostly digital in a world where physical was still available as a fallback. That’s not the same situation as if it wasn’t. The existence of physical media and a resale market does prevent some of the worst fuckeries of an otherwise monopoly, regardless if you ever bought or sold used games.

the destruction of the consumer electronics market …

Nah. They lose money every time you use their shitty services. Sabotage would actually improve their cashflow.

They’ve been occasionally attacking oil infrastructure since the beginning of the war. Used to be their “allies” asked them to please tone that down a bit. I guess Ukrainians finally stopped giving a shit.

It does not use AI data centers. Those are not remotely on the same scale as what we called a data center before this LLM hype started. This infrastructure will not have another use once the bubble pops.

That was a small minority of games. There were video games before everybody had the internet. But even later, not every game is or was an online game. Actually most weren’t, because plans were expensive and connection quality was horseshit. Also, games used to support player run dedicated servers where no such checks existed. Hell, you didn’t even have to use the game’s own server browsers in many cases, there were 3rd party solutions for that.

Of course there was. It was very much alive on our schoolyard. (A “market” doesn’t need a man in the middle siphoning off a profit for it to exist.)
You could write down CD keys and put them in the case, you know?
It’s because they keep doing it wrong!

The only reason I know Double Fine. To this day I don’t get why they’re generally known for Psychonauts over this.

Well, it’s the competi… oh.

Tim Sweeney claims it’s a “Scarlet Letter” which makes players “try to kill the game”
That’s because we don’t want slop in our media, and we have a right to not want it.
What this shithead is saying is that customers should be lied to so they can’t choose a product based on what they actually want.

But it’s nice to be confirmed so quickly.
Deal with it? I’d rather dress for the 8 hours in the office than for the 30 minute way home.
I just keep a hoodie and a spare T-shirt in my closet at work.
You’re freezing in 30°C just because the air is moving?
I did both yesterday. It’s not.
I love JRPGS.
I always burn out on Octopath quickly. The 8 disjointed stories just don’t draw me in.
