I thought “The Witch and the Wizard” was a fairly decent series. Keep in mind i was 11 at the time

I recall a story where a historian visited ireland and heard a song with what the people singing called gibberish, but the historian recognized as an ancient language.

5·3 天前Yeah. Youd be surprised how many people just throw away computers. Ask around, im sure someone you know has one lying around theyd like to get rid of (maybe with some minor problem like needing a new hard drive or something)
Its easy to say something like “my camera for this shoot costs $5k, you could rent it for $300 a day and do it yourself” but people dont really care about art or skill. If youre shooting a wedding, for example, there are hundreds of little candid moments that your friend John the Designated Driver wouldn’t catch that Natalie GirlWhoDoesThisForALiving would.
Not to mention there aren’t enough weddings a day to sustain someone for $300 per, and youre competing with others, and blah blah blah.
I tend to follow my instinct of “your art is worth whatever you say it is”. If i like your art and i like your price, ill pay it, no haggling. If i dont like one or either, i apologize for wasting your time.
I would believe so. Hes kind of just a stylized mafia boss
Very well. Shes actually much happier with my new personality. I think she always saw it, but I was too busy hiding it to be passionate or emotional at all. We’re actually communicating and growing together.
Im still working on coming out to our friends and eventually my family

More frustration in our current system
I knew a guy on food stamps who voted for trump because he planned on being a billionaire through the powerball.
People would rather live in the reality of their fantasies than our current one… Which is why we need socialism.
Ask 4 different americans and all four will have different answers, all with negative associations. Unless you meet me, in which case i begin foaming at the mouth.
The idea is that common knowledge is the tip of the iceberg, and as you go deeper you get more niche and involved. A math iceberg, for example, would start with addition and subtraction, go into exponents, radicals, algebra, then imaginary numbers, series, set theory, then calculus, proofs, theoretical stuff.
The problem is they became popular, so its really just “stuff i wanted to talk about in a particular order”. Tier lists are slightly better designed, but people also vastly misinterpret the purpose of those as well; i highly suspect most tier list makers dont even know where S tier comes from

Doordash alone has proven that people will buy anything at any price. Someone with severe depression takes it as a mental health tax, someone with a bunch of money takes it as a convenience fee, and doordash laughs all the way to the bank
