For what it’s worth I was able to reach it and was redirected to the https connection no problem. Could be an issue reaching it from within your local network rather than a problem with your server setup directly.
I use a proxy server as the main entrypoint to my multiple servers/vms at home and had to mess around with the DNS settings on my router as the automatically generated entries were different than what anyone else would see from outside.
It was probably when I bought my Link Between Worlds 3DS XL. I bought physical cartridges for it, but I think I was getting them on Amazon mostly. When I got the switch my whole collection was digital downloads.
ah that stinks, yeah it’s not the most comfortable for long sessions. Might be worth checking out emulation and playing with a control method that works better for you. You’ll lose the 3D but you’ll still get to enjoy some really solid games.
Such a huge fan of what Technology Connections is doing, especially more recently with his “we have the technology to be more efficient already” angle and just under the surface political rage.
I know my prius isn’t as good as an EV for most of the driving I do, but it’s way better than any other internal combustion system on the market. When my wife’s beater kicks the bucket we’re definitely replacing it with an EV and keeping the prius for long hauls.
I took my 3DS XL on vacation because I knew I’d be waiting in lots of lines. Dipped in to Tomodachi Life (3DS), made some more progress in Pokémon Omega Ruby, and had some fun with a bunch of arcadey titles like pac-man championship edition and the 3ds version of Dr. Mario. Also took some 3D photos with the 3DS’ camera, which I didn’t really give much appreciation to back in the day.
Back at home and I’ve gotten back into the Sims 2 which I’m playing on my Steam deck after tinkering around with a custom control scheme for a while.

Still plugging away at Pokémon Omega Ruby, my wife is playing Alpha Sapphire. Remembering just how fun and cool the 3DS is as a console. Also played a bit of Dragon Quest Builders on Steam Deck.
all of the computers in my house run linux, and other than a few laptop hardware issues my non-techie wife uses it for all of her work happily. Sure I can’t play Fortnite, but other than that sort of edge case I never see myself going back. My dual-boot windows install has been left to rot on my desktop and I don’t think it’s even worth the time investment of updating by firing it up again.
I’ve played stardew a reasonable amount, but my wife has absolutely devoured that game haha

I really like the gardening analogy. It also feels that way from a user’s perspective since I’m not getting content fed to me by an algorithm, I’m seeking out users and communities to follow and cultivating my own feeds
good thing games have looked better than necessary for fun and enjoyment for ages now. Hopefully everyone has some still usable hardware around.
