I think that might depend on who you’re hiring though. That’s the same line our boss told me when they pushed me back to the office. But in the time since then, we have hired several new staff who actually prefer to communicate digitally. They will email, teams, phone, or text me with questions before actually seeking me out in person.

I suspect if someone who makes 50K a year has millionaire connections, those connections would have probably helped them by now and not have to wait for them to die.

I could be wrong, money seems to make people selfish and greedy. So maybe the millionaire would rather hoard their wealth than let the 50K person get any before they die. But they’re still nice enough to let them have something after they pass?

It’s ridiculous that Christmas decorations and shopping starts popping up in stores 4 months early in September (late August in some cases). No other holiday is like that. It’s like seeing Valentine’s Day stuff out in November or Halloween out in July. Personally, I feel oversaturated and sick of Christmas by the time it actually arrives.

I liked the theatrical ending. It may have been somewhat ambiguous but it certainly felt like it was the end for John Wick, whether he died or that he was actually free now. I’m disappointed, but not surprised, that they’re rolling out #5 just because #4 made money. I think it’s time for John’s story to end. Not to say that the world they built needs to end, I’m looking forward to the spin off shows. I personally find it a little tiring to have each film set up the antagonist as the best-of-the-best/top-of-the-top for John to overcome (which is why it’s so satisfying when he does) only for the goalposts to move and reveal an even bigger/better villain in the next movie.
