Only reason to use proton is because you’re already paying for their email/drive/whatever.
Please stop releasing new products and finish the ones you’ve got. I’ve been waiting for feature parity on the Linux VPN client since like 5 product launches ago…
VPN Linux client is still barely functional years later…
Keep releasing new products tho

Mainly this, alongside a cost of living crisis not unique to Canada. Other concern is there is some animous towards immigrants as poor immigration policy is a part of why housing is where it is. Sadly, I’m not sure I’d feel welcome as an immigrant in Canada right now (perhaps more so for Indian/Pakistani immigrants, but still).
Avoid Canada, or at least Toronto/Vancouver. Country is not in a great state atm.
I certainly hope someone got fired for that blunder
Holding in ur poop
Fair enough, although I still think the timeframe is some classic Proton soon™ copium. The community CLI app currently supports it.
That said, I might expect the official app to have higher standards for security. And, the community version cannot handle split tunneling and kill switch at once, you have to pick one or the other.
That would make sense, cheers
I’m confused, I thought it already had this? I’ve been using it for months. What is new here?
Glad to hear that things are still happening to the Linux app anyway. Slowly but surely we’ll catch up to feature parity (split tunneling when?).
Potentially HOVER! on the ol’ Windows ME machine iirc.
Age of Empires 2 also comes to mind.
Idk how Freetube works but the recommendations are usually relevant to me and I don’t have a google acc

Credit cards
Just a slimy middleman taking a cut of every transaction and trapping people in debt. But a bit of a tragedy of the commons because merchants raise prices to accommodate CC fees and the rewards are hard to pass up.
I’d only recommend Proton if a) you’re already paying for their suite or b) you’re not using Linux. Otherwise, Mullvad is the way to go IMO.
