I sure hope you’re right, but I worry that the Democrats will be stubborn and support Israel even if it lets the fascists keep winning. And I worry that the voters will be stubborn and “support” Palestine even if it lets the fascists keep winning. If either of those doesn’t happen, it’ll stop getting worse for a while. But if they both happen, then trans people will be fucked and Palestinians will be fucked, and some people will be convinced that only one party is to blame, rather than both.

Oh, it’s just the normal everyday cisheteropartiarchy burned into people’s brains why they’re downvoting Me. My suggestion goes outside their comfort zone, and they don’t know Me well enough to seriously consider what I’m saying, they just feel a negative emotional reaction to radical new ideas. Thinking new ideas is hard work, cognitively taxing, so they perceive My new ideas as a threat.
