Could have been the butter condensing more towards the bottom of the bowl? Maybe try mixing it up a little bit before scooping out some onto the trays to keep the same consistency in each batch
I think they meant pull the power cable out 😬
There is C# support in Godot. I’m not sure how many tutorials have been made with it in particular, but I think there’s plenty. Plus their docs go over the API differences so shouldn’t be hard to use in any case
As typical as it is for the current indie game dev climate, making a ‘Vampire Survivors’ type game is probably a really good starting point for game development. 2D games are somewhat easier to make than 3D ones, so a 2D roguelike could be fun (but get’s very complex very quickly) or a old-school Zelda styled game would also be pretty cool in my opinion while remaining fairly simple.
Here’s are a couple other avenues to learn off the top of my head:
Follow along with one or two of the large amount of tutorials they have for the engine and adding new features and gameplay mechanics to them when you feel like it.
Think of a cool but simple idea and try to execute it yourself through trial and error, referencing the online docs and asking questions to the Godot game dev community.
It can be super daunting as there is a lot to learn. Try to learn by working on something that you yourself think is fun and that’ll keep you more motivated :)
Was feeling alright this morning with a decent amount of energy. Starting exercising again on my work break but my office is not cooling me down enough.
Currently running a program (software dev) that’s taking ages to finish so I feel like I’m not putting in enough effort but can’t do much about it.
Going to paint some miniatures and play BG3 when I get home which is always good.
Overall I’d say pretty decent and an improvement over my last week :) Just trying to make small improvements to my daily life helps in a big way.
“Finished” Noita? Or “FINISHED, FINISHED” Noita? 😬
Been stuck on the same project for months now and am feeling a bit burnt out on it. I would like a change of pace with another project but also I’m getting close to the end of it. Just need to power through
I have the PDF files and printed them on A4, then glued 2 blank A4 together and glued the PDF prints on either side of that. Gave it enough thickness and we are still using them a few years later. Took a while to do all the gluing but I would say it was worth it for us.
For the stands I bought some bull clips to stand them upright while waiting for an Amazon order of these
They were cheaper at the time I bought them but they hold the pawns well.
You should be able to hide behind waist high cover in front of you as one action, then fire out of it immediately after as another action.
There’s probably a firing angle that you could still do that for a wall corner too. Also I want to point out that you won’t be able to stride out of a hidden position because you would lose hidden as soon as you stride. You would need to use the sneak action and end that movement behind something else that breaks line of sight because ending a move action in direct line of sight makes you “observed” instead of “hidden”.
I remember reading a comment about this when it was posted elsewhere a while back. They said at the time that the mask was actually not as creepy as we think it is now. We have generations of people that have grown up watching horror movies and playing video games like FNAF that have altered our perception of creepy. In the same way clowns used to not be creepy. The comment also mentioned that since Mickey was a beloved icon for children it actually comforted them to wear a mask in that form. Also it’s worth noting that there were much more horrific things occurring daily for them so this was probably quite tame in comparison.
This comes from someone else who heard about it from their grandparents so take it with a grain of salt, but it wasn’t necessarily a scary thing for them at the time.
It might be due to creatures with the undead trait die immediately at 0 HP (not to dying 1 condition). So they might have wanted a similar vibe to actual creature revenants but without removing player character survivability. Also the actual undead heritage you are referring to gets Basic Undead Benefits which notably stops them from dying at 0hp immediately, but also gives immunity to death effects and better vision, undead hunger etc. On the other end, an Undead heritage cannot have stabilize cast on them but a revenant can, undead are destroyed if they die so cannot be brought back to life again, whereas the Revenant can keep being brought back to life and become Revenant2 I guess.
So the Revenant background gives some aspects of the undead without giving all the full blown benefits of an entire heritage option and not as many drawback either. I’m seeing it now as Revenant == Undead-lite.
I’m assuming seeing duplicate posts from the two all the time would be the reason why you wouldn’t sub to both. Unless there’s like some extensions or something that stop that kinda thing? I’m fairly new to this kind of thing so educate me if I’m wrong
Anyone know what’s the meaning of the spell schools one?
The first ten seconds of “Stairway to Heaven” played by some random person who picked up a guitar plays gently in the background
