The trend is reversing though. Especially on long haul international flights. Airliners are ordering planes with more premium seating and fewer economy seats. Not only does the average margin per passenger increases, but they also have to deal with fewer passengers on the ground which can lower off boarding and on boarding time.

You can end up in a wheelchair if you abuse NOx. Severe B12 deficiency will damage the nervous system.

You can blame the storage provider but ultimately it’s their fault. Anyone who takes archiving serious knows that you need at least 3 backups of your archive in different locations for cases like this.

Lemmy is mostly the same as Reddit before the “normies” found Reddit. And Reddit was full of vile and toxic shut-ins already from the start. Lemmy isn’t any better. It’s just that Lemmy users mostly lean left and people gloss over toxicity from people they agree with

Josh Gad wrote this one not Mel Brooks.

It started with branding. Like CD stands for CompactDisc which was a trademarked brand name using this logo.

Edit: I’m wrong. There is a patent for an optical disc that precedes CD and Laserdisc and uses the word Disc on the patent

That’s probably where disc started being used for optical storage. And disk remained being used for magnetic storage.
