It can be confusing in the US because almost every point of sale system asks for a tip now. As a general rule, if you are paying before you consume your food then no tip is required. If you are paying after you have been served and eaten, then a tip is socially expected: 10% for “poor” service, 15% for average, and 20%+ for exceptional service. Not tipping is also an option, but largely considered “A Dick Move” by most people. If your transaction does not involve eating a meal then tipping should not be part of the transaction.

There are of course exceptions and edge cases, but this should cover you 97% of the time.

+1 for Dinkum (Think multiplayer animal Crossing but with minimal combat, progression, and Stardew Valley-esk day timer instead of real time) Also +1 for Grounded, it’s more survival crafting and combat but still a great vibe.

I can’t speak to most other VR uses, but I have played Walkabout Mini Golf by Mighty Coconut almost weekly for almost 5 years now. The courses are great and they still release new ones almost every month. The game is good alone, but it’s GREAT with 2-7 friends. Honorable mention goes to the “I Expect You to Die” game series - kind of escape-room situations where you are in various life-threatening situations and the scene restarts each time you die (which is frequently).

No powers, just a fantastic gangster’s rise to power story. The setting occurs in the aftermath of superhero events, so I think it checks all the boxes (and it’s fantastic!)

Walkabout Mini Golf from Mighty Coconut is the only VR game I play anymore. Most of the courses demonstrate that you don’t need fancy graphics if you have good aesthetics!
