Perhaps more involved than you’d like, but you can get a “beer can cutter” which will allow you to eliminate the noise by removing the entire lid. Basically a fancy can opener.

Arguably the best part of that whole film.
It does come in a bottle. Had an amoxicillin reaction. That bottle was a lifesaver every four hours of the day, or night. But I also think this is BS. Benadryl will plug you up like nothing else.
Very hard to just have one. Any motorcycle is a compromise. The question is what you’re willing to compromise on. I personally like my R1250 GSA for luggage, comfort, and a reasonable good time in the corners if using dynamic mode. I ride two up regularly, or I’d entertain a 1000xr for those trips. I also have an s1000rr and KTM 350 EXC-F which have very specific charters. No bike that I can tour on in comfort will hang with the s1k in the corners or tackle true single track with the KTM. For a long time I had an fjr1300 which was a great middle ground before I could afford the GSA.
I’ve let high octane sit in dry environments for six to nine months multiple times w/o issue. YMMV
As I understand it, the issue with the ethanol is attracting moisture. If I was going to leave a bike for a year, without someone around to ride it, I’d drain the fuel, run it dry, and put the it on a stand.
Same here. Been trying to find interesting content I can contribute to help the community. On Reddit it was all about finding someone who already said what I was going to say and upvoting or commenting.
Two words: tribal police. I’d already gotten a lights and siren warning earlier in the day for taking a corner a nice bit faster than speed limit in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully he was oncoming and it was a twisty enough stretch that he just flashed the lights, blipped the sirent, and shut them off. Also, right over the rise in this picture were tourists taking turns standing in the road to get their picture taken.
Just completed a ride from southern CA to CO. Tar snakes in AZ in 90 degree heat are awful! I’m already hot and uncomfortable, trying to hit a good line, then the rear steps out or the front pushes!
Nice ride. Would suggest cleaning up the tail with Tacomotoco’s fender eliminator if you are mostly playing off road. (I have the same year 350 EXC-F and like the look better)
Cute murder floof.
