I suspect deeply immersive sim game with AAA graphic is dead from an economical perspective. It is more and more costly to have visually impressive games, and immersive sims does not sold that much.

On the other side, I suspect the futur of such games is indie, with retro look, so devs can focus on what makes such game awesome.

People were not ready for Cyberpunk either, so I think “People” here refers to the officials.

There was a time where PC had almost zero console game. Those times where so hard with shitty games like doom, quake, command and conquers, Warcraft, Diablo, half-life… I will defenetly buy your expensive jail box so I can play AAA games where the game play for me or let me do the same thing again and again on various points on a 100 billions km2 map…

IIRC EA has been sold to a share holder group. I suspect it is the end for it. I hope artists will be fine, it’s a hard time for video game industry.

PAT is a cool game, but it have the highly community dependent feel.

I suggest to join a Discord to get more fun. We had a 3V3 experiences long time ago. We where 2 bad players, they put us in front of each other so we could have fun and they decided to beat us at the the very end of the game, when you need to. It was cool to play in such good mindset. I hope this game would continue, even as a niche.
