Is the US second world then?
Is the US second world then?
You know thats absurd or else people would be doing it. Its not just a valve, and its not out in the open with no protections. My cousin used to guard the Alaskan pipeline. How do you suppose I go and affect that without getting shot?
Good takeaway my dude.
The games followed a similar path as elder scrolls. Very heavy RPG in the beginning, DAO is very similar to morrowind or BG3 in that way. As the games came out they stripped RPG elements slowly, although I recall the second game still being very much an RPG.
Then inquisition and veilguard dropped the RPG elements and became action games. You generally choose what type of action you like (caster, rogue, warrior) and thats all of the roleplaying involved.
Veilguard specifically is a re-skin of Hogwarts legacy, so if you tried that then you know what it will be like. Maybe the newer assassins creed games would be a good comparison too, heavy action, minor RPG.
Well as long as you are getting something out of this then thats a win in my books.
Its just as unrealistic that one person affects global pollution as much as it is unrealistic that one person go and personally stop the pollution at the source, isnt it?
It seems like you are arguing noone should do either direct or indirect action, since neither is feasible on an individual basis.
I dont think you know what objective means.
Yeah I imagine most those computers will just become “linux” computers by default.
Its interesting you mention the hardware side of VR, I hadn’t considered it since my biggest gripe is that each headset plus pcvr is siloed off for a specific device. There might be enough games to sustain VR if there was a single marketplace for it, and all headsets were designed around that.
I think right now each company still thinks they can be that single marketplace, so theres too many chefs in the kitchen.
Is microsoft actually bricking their WMD headsets or just not supporting them anymore? Could you still treat it as a retro gaming console?
I dont need specifics because the proof is already there that whatever is being done now isnt working. Just like you argue that efforts to reduce animal consumption are proven futile by the increase in animal consumption year over year.
Thats true but this is also happening at the same time Microsoft is bricking a ton of older hardware for their windows 11 push.
I think thats going to have a larger effect on the used market, and will push prices down.
I found something similar to our vegan debate! Polution!
Its ever increasing year over year, but efforts to reduce pollution have reduced the rate of increase.
Would you argue that since pollution increases year over year that we should abandon our current efforts as its clear they aren’t working?
I think you dont know what objective means.
Great point. People would take farming jobs if the pay was decent and all of those abusive “festures” you mentioned are missing.
Should change the phrase to “They do the jobs we would never do for such little pay and benefits.”
If it makes you feel any better, the times you were hopeful about the future were as much a matter of perspective as it is now. Pick any time you think things were going well and I can tell you how many numerous awful things happened at the same time.
I’d recommend placing a lot less weight on national politics in general. Your state government and local governments affect your life far more day to day. Your immediate family and friends also do in a different way.
Basically if you think on a large enough scale you can always find bad and good, there really is no “trend”. Youll find meaningful trends on a much more micro level in my opinion.
If you buy used stuff already, you won’t run into tarriffed goods for a while after they are implemented. Not sure what thats worth though.
America uses slave labor in the same way, plus with prisoners, so where’s our ultra cheap EVs? Apparently we need to use our “resources” better.
Not really sure which point you are making.
I have no idea what thanksgiving meant hundreds of years ago. I’m aware that the natives and colonizers did not get along great back then but that has nothing to do with thanksgiving today.
Today, its generally about getting together and having a nice meal and giving thanks (being positive).
Also, the day being worthless for you, only affects you. It still has worth for everyone else who assign it worth. You haven’t stumbled upon some universal fact, its just an opinion.
You likely could find people who share your opinion and get together with them and all have some sort of Thanksgiving group debate if you’d like.
While capitalism is the majority it’s going to feel that way. We become socialist once a majority of people feel that way. Unfortunately most americans are greedy to the bone, and often selfish too.
