Cats in Xmas trees, so hot right now
it can be used to incentivize the act of running a lemmy/kbin instance (for instance).
Good comment and I’d just like to say, I see what you did there.
Lol relevant Unabomber quotes. Good ol’ Lemmy
Don’t know who would downvote you for this, it’s important context.
Teddy Roosevelt’s National Park programs
Imagine the uproar if that was a new idea now. People would hate it as the most “socialist”, anti-business, outlandish concept. You just conserve it? And you can’t build strip mall parking lots and gas stations all over it?!?
Yeah Narnia was straight up unmistakable Christian allegory. I believe J.R.R. (C.S.'s drinking buddy) always insisted that LOTR was not meant to be taken in that way, or like when people hypothesized that Sauron was Hitler and so on.
“land use amount is to scale, location is not”
Still seems kind of clunky, and given all the misunderstanding ITT it might do more harm than good.
I wonder how bad it’ll get before we get some kind of prescribed burn policy. Smoky summers suuuuck. Having your house or town burn down in an out of control wildfire sucks even more.
!fuck_cars@lemmy.ml is leaking.
Language arts teacher here: for a generation that conducts the majority of your social life in text format… You should have paid more attention in my class!
The pixels!
A dead giveaway.
The trained eye can always ALWAYS tell by the pixels.
Lol yeah the high albedo of grazing sheep has been tragically understudied until now.
They’re soooo floofy.
Including t-shirt sizes! That’s a new one. Identity theft mannequins with accurate bellies?!?
???
Profit!
Yeah I end up blathering away more now on Lemmy than I did on Reddit. Like some post over there with 1000 comments: 1, nobody’s reading them all and 2, somebody already commented what I was going to say.
Cat Hitler’s one weakness.
Lol attention span problems.
Why’s that? Seems like a moderately clever way to make their point and make some noise.
Welp my ol’ boomer dad always said no Christmas shit before December, decorations, music, etc.
But my kids asked me to set up the tree in the middle of November. So I figure might as well make them happy.
And as it happened, my dad died of cancer in his 40s so it’s not like his Christmas rules did him any good any way.
Whattaya gonna do 🤷♂️
