I’ve forgotten the name of the card, but there’s a colorless card that has a bunch of them beating on a baddie and it makes me laugh every time.

I don’t have nearly enough or strong enough words to say how much she means to me. But she’s just so incredible. She’s so strong and so kind and compassionate. Her laugh gives me butterflies and I absolutely adore how much she loves to cuddle or just hold my hand.
Gah! I’m so lucky <3

Woah! Nope. Just wanted to hear people being happy. :)

I’ve always been really into clouds, so I get distracted fairly often.
But I think it’s really awesome to just look outside. I feel like people aren’t as keen to just absorb the world around them or to be curious about all that’s around us.
I stopped my partner on a walk recently to listen to the bees in the freshly blooming tree we were under. She said she never would have noticed.
I’ve gotten that same answer from others when I’ve said that I love walking through neighborhoods and smelling when someone is doing laundry. It just smells really good and it makes me feel good.
Personally, I played a whole bunch of demos.
Far Far West was a lot of fun, especially with friends. It needs some tweaks, for sure, but we played for a solid several hours just having fun.
Dobbel Dungeon was one that I immediately bought upon finishing the demo. It’s an adorable style, but I feel like the tactics are fairly deep? I’ve put in a handful of hours into it and am still rather enjoying it.
Hozy was another demo I really enjoyed. It’s like Unpacking meets House Flipper, kinda. Very cozy, feels good to play.
Vampire Survivors card game was also fun, but I’m not entirely sold on it yet. It feels like it needs maybe a little more work.
Loot -something? I’ve forgotten the title, but it’s similar to slay the spire and then resident evil 4’s loot system. Everything has to fit within your backpack, some items have bonuses to specific things. I had a helmet that would give thorns bonuses to adjacent plate armor, for example. Very interesting concept and I was having a lot of fun organizing my inventory. But similar to vampire Survivors, I felt as if it was lacking chew. But maybe I am comparing it too closely to slay the spire?
In any case, I had a lot of fun. It seems like this year will be a good one for games. :]
I really enjoy house flipper, but I didn’t realize there was a new “improved” game. I did play Hozy, which felt sort of similar, but just isometric. It was lovely and interesting. Maybe more of a mix between House Flipper and Unpacking

I live basically on the border on the US side and pray that BC changing will allow WA to change.
Full DST is better imo. Having light after work/school/the day makes the dark months so much more tolerable. Helps alleviate my SAD partially, personally.

I prefer rounds - less cylindrical tots means more crunch per cm. But same thoughts.

I married my first bf and after 12 years, we split.
Ouch. Oof. Ouchie

I don’t know if it’s normal, but intrusive thoughts like that happen to, I’d imagine, a lot of people.
The other commenter that said you can train yourself to sort of step back from them isn’t wrong. That’s a big sort of “mindfulness” thing. Maybe that can help you and I would advise looking up some info on it.
Personally, I bounce off of the whole of mindfulness, it just doesn’t work for me. What’s helped me is to structure some sort of way to move away from that thought. In my head, I have the vague script of the garbage thoughts written on a huge mental chalkboard - like the ones in college lecture halls - and I will imagine a big eraser just cleaning the whole thing. Like a sort of power washing simulator thing. Haha.
But I would say maybe check yourself for habit revolving around these thoughts. Like are you checking your door is locked for sure or putting your blankets in just the right way? It might be more of an OCD behavior in that case, and I would definitely suggest talking to a professional.

I found Midnight Mass a little too pretentious and slow, but it was interesting.
Bly, for me, has a great pace with several twists that I would have never guessed. Even knowing the twists, I enjoy watching it still and picking out some of the fun things.
But I think what just brings it above Hill House for me is that I think it’s a really beautiful love story in several different ways. And truth be told, I’m an absolute sucker for it all.

I think I’d probably go for the YouTube version too. I love both, but yt is probably the better one by a slight margin

It’s the
✨Poop hole loophole✨

Since someone else mentioned Arcane,
My choice would be Chernobyl. I watch it probably once a year and I’m just as hooked every single time. Damn fine work.
I also adore Haunting of Bly Manor. Haunting of Hill House ranks just below that one, I think. But both of those are very good.
And if weird and irreverent are your thing, Bee and Puppycat is so cozy and fun.

I call myself a homing pigeon because I have some wicked intuition with spatial knowledge.
So that being said, yes. I could definitely map out everywhere I’ve lived or visited for an okay amount of time. I could also probably give a pretty decent map of the surrounding areas of each.
Agreed with the second part 100%. On the rare occasion I get fast food or something, getting the good stuff straight from the great soda teat is probably the best part.
Oof, I’ve been there. Cutting back of it suuucks
Thank goodness I’m not the only weirdo that does this.
I was laughed at just recently for this.
