The only podcast I actually got into was the Always Sunny podcast, which kinda ended abruptly when their schedules got too hectic. I tried Dropping Names with Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner but after a few episodes it got kinda dull with their mostly posting demeanor and them trying to just shoehorn as many names into stories as possible.

Hurricane Michael. I was in Georgia at the time and most hurricanes dissipate and turn into big storms by the time it hits us. Nope. This was a CAT5 when it hit the coast and maintained to a CAT3-CAT2 by the time it hit us. I loved alone at the time, had prepped my Danger Room (inner most closet).
While waiting I had taken a brand new unopened bottle of Bibb & Tucker bourbon into the room with me because I’d joked if I die in hurricane I’m not gonna do it sober. It got really hot and muggy in there and the weather didn’t sound so bad so eventually I get out to try and look outside. I spent the next maybe hour walking from a rear window to a front window but it was late evening and you could only see when lightning flashed. It honestly didn’t seem as bad as Id thought, and when checking the radar the worst had passed us. So I checked outside with my headlamp and flashlight to see it had uprooted a tree in my front yard which had fallen onto my front porch. No real damage but it’s wild I never heard the damn thing fall. Nor did I hear the neighbor’s tree fall and destroy the carport in the back of the house. It took almost a year and a half for insurance to admit there was roof damage.
There wasn’t much I could do for my house since the trees were too big on their own. I tidied up what I could, grabbed my chainsaw, met up with a neighbor buddy and we went around the neighborhood doing whatever we could. Of course there were douches who wouldn’t lift a finger in their own yard but were expecting us to cut shit at their demand.
The whole area was without power for about a week. A couple days later we went to a friend’s house who was having a freezer party with the whole point of grilling food that would have otherwise gone bad. I brought my bottle of B&T to share because I thought i’d drank less than 1/4 of it while waiting out the hurricane. I went to pour my first cup and…nope. I barely had enough left for 1 glass for myself. No idea how I drank that much in 1 night with my legs still able to function and not puking my guts out the next morning

And using it to describe everything is the enshitification of the word enshitification

He’s painted his face orange every day for over a decade.
Zero shame

“Tax payer funded healthcare is socialism”

He’s been having rapid worsening decline for the last 3 years.

The wokest number of all…1488!!!

Southern college football coach.

“Golden age”
So he’s gonna spray paint some cheap fixtures on science and think it makes it classy?

So are you actually gonna do something about it or just make 12 more posts about guillotines thinking it’s a contribution?

And people would say you couldn’t elect a convicted felon, yet here we are

So you mean to tell me a blatantly corrupt business person who somehow sleezed his way into the highest government position based on bullshit corruption racism, and has done nothing but blatantly, publicly perform extensive corruption in every aspect facing zero repercussions…appointed his personal lawyer to the highest chair possible just shy of the SCOTUS, and said lawyer has been exposed to have abused and corrupted every aspect of his job as a lawyer?
If you were to ask me rank this in how shocked I am in this scenario on a scale of one to ten, I’d rank this about a -12
When I was 15 I bought a CD burner for my PC. This was circa 1999 and Napster. It cost about $250 (which is a little over $500 in 2026) and it had to be installed and in a more complex fashion beyond plug USB and let’s drivers auto install. I was selling custom CDs for $5 with case inserts and paid off the burner in about a month. Then someone snitched on me in school and eventually burners started becoming standard on all new machines

It gets shot down because it’s labeled as socialism and all the dipshit right-wingers will praise it then bitch endlessly all year about how they don’t get enough vacation time at work

We have people in unions who hate unions. Apparently the propaganda Kool aid is a great flavor

Yeah it’s BS that you have to find detailed instructions online to turn of developer mode just so you could have the number

Did you know Snoop Dogg sold weed to Cameron Diaz in high school or Steve Buscemi was a volunteer firefighter on 9/11
What I liked about Always Sunny podcast was it was the guys watching the episodes for the first time and would usually share a lot of great behind the scenes content while also BSing. If you’ve watched the whole series multiple times it’s really entertaining.
