Like last week, the deadline is on Sunday evening CET.
Scatterbrained and friendly optimist. Always happy to give my (unasked for) opinion :)
Pardon my rambling and broken English, I know I often sound like an alien trying to impersonate a human being.
Like last week, the deadline is on Sunday evening CET.
This was in the beginning of May as well. It looked really gorgeous, but some of the flowers (tulips especially) were already wilting.
I think a week or so earlier would’ve been even nicer, though the weather was really good that day.
Here are the final scores:

I uploaded a Hajime Sorayama image and ask for a variation on it.
Prompt: arcade fighting game, character selection screen, beauty versus beast, holding up fist, angry looks, 16-bit graphics, underneath beauty the text “BEAUTY” is written, underneath beast the text “BEAST” --ar 3:2
There’s a free open source version you can download at http://theurquanmasters.com/
If you’re looking for some inspiration, might I suggest the Orz?
Weird talking fish aliens whose language can’t always be properly translated. Replacing more alien concepts with words like *happy*, *frumple*, etc.
Part of the fun would be to determine if being called a *happy* *camper* is a good or a really bad thing.
I’m feeling like #7 right now.
Wish I had thought of reading my book in the bath though.

Inattentive adhd. My mind likes to go on little vacations.
They had to cut down the company from 15 to 8 employees due to a big client leaving.
I was one of those seven that needed to go. But one of those that got to stay had a year long sabbatical planned and decided to take it earlier. This allowed me to stay, but I only got to hear this about a week or two before I had to go.
I already had some second job interviews planned and attended these anyway for fun. I wasn’t rude, but definitely a lot more casual than your usual applicant :)
Can confirm, these are awesome plates. They were my daughter’s favorites.
Just as an extra reminder, I will create the voting post on Sunday evening CET.
So the deadline is until then.
That used to be my slacking off game at my first real job. I’d ssh into my computer at home and sneakily play Nethack whenever I got bored. Either that or browse websites with Links.
This was around 2007 and way outside my comfort zone as far as computers were concerned. I felt like such a hacker at the time :)
And here are the final scores:

Looks like I won! But I’m a bit out of ideas right now.
So if @merde@sh.itjust.works is ok with it, I would like to pass the honor of thinking up the next challenge on to him.
Sorry, you are right, I should be more clear on when I post the voting post.
It depends a little on when I have access to my computer, but I always try to create the voting post on Saturday evening (CET). Mostly so people can vote over the weekend and we can have a new challenge at the beginning of the week.
But then again, I can imagine people would like to have the Saturday to create an entry since a lot of people are busy during the weekdays.
What do you (and everyone else) think? Is a deadline of Saturday evening or Sunday evening better?
But if you still want, you’re most welcome to post your entry here if you like. I’d love to see it :)

I thought I’d try something different for a change:
I’d try to get it to look left and right as well, but blinking was the best I could get.
