BRAWNDO. ITS GOT WHAT PLANTS CRAVE
Wow you’re confidently incorrect. Your article is from before Scalise dropped from the race. She’s voted for Jordon in the vote this week.

I have to disagree with you that it’s not a form of payment. How many platforms offer a subscription model to go ad free? Ads are a revenue stream for any given platform. You either pay the platform with your money, or your time watching ads.
If you disagree that you can’t pay for things with your time, then we will have to agree to disagree
It’s smoke and mirrors. They want attention off trump and the House right now
Are you claiming this article, about the democratic president impeachment, is a gop article? Yeah the GOP are involved, but it’s pretty disingenuous to say this is about the gop
Yea I guess I should have used /s on that comment. That’s exactly what I was referencing
Some employees get back pay when the shutdown ends, but not all
Some people still do. My coworkers wife at the EPA will get back pay. The people who really lose out are the contractors
they may need to make concessions to the Democrats
This feels like the only way forward, but that would mean Mccarthy would have to be bipartisan and I don’t see that happening, just as much as I don’t see the far right GOP conceding
No they can usually pass a continued resolution, which extends current funding levels for a specified amount of time. This usually gives them enough time to actually figure something out.
Right now is different though. There is so much infighting in the GOP that the far right wingers are holding the House hostage. They put forth a bill today (or yesterday? ) that 20 of the GOP switched sides just to make it fail (not that it would have made it through the senate and Biden threaten veto at it anyway). Theyre wasting time, and it seems the extreme rights in the GOP aren’t cooperating because they want a shutdown.
McCarthy has no control. He made too many concessions to become speaker, and now a vocal minority is essentially in control
It’s a small price to pay for a corroborating witness. This guy is a footnote, at best, in this story.
Canadian, probably? Niagara is on the usa/Canadian border
You realize that quote is from the Jewish victim in the story, right?
Fraud is just good business practice! He’s so smart for that
Just because you drink them year round, doesnt mean most people do. They dont brew them in the summer because they cant sell them enough to make it profitable.
You definitely have a point there about only having ipas at a brewery. IPA is the easiest beer to make, and the easiest beer to hide any imperfections. 1 of our 2 main breweries in town basically only does IPAs. Took them like 5 years until they did something that actually was good and not an IPA
This was in reply to “when my wife’s out of town for a week.” And me talking about how i have no idea how single parents do it… So… not there. When she’s home, the duties are split and it’s manageable
I never had more time than living alone. Having a spouse and 2 kids is mayhem.
The kids make the things you mentioned impossible. I’m up an hour before them to get the day going. Then it’s getting everyone together to get to work and daycare. Pick up kids from daycare after work, cook/have dinner, a little down time (like 30-60 minutes tops) which is spent with my kids, then it’s baths and bed time routine for both of them. At this point, it is somewhere between 8 and 9, depending on how bedtime went and you haven’t even cleaned up dinner or their lunch stuff. Now you can’t leave your kids alone in the house, so you can’t run any errands.
If you have practice or activities after daycare, push everything back another hour or 2.
It’s a lot to do, which is how I dont understand how single parents do it every single day. I can handle it for a week, but a lot of routine chores don’t happen. Things like a load of laundry goes in at 10p and I pass out and it sits wet until the next day.
Part of that is seasonal. You’re not going to get a stout in the summer, just like you’re not going to get an Oktoberfest in the spring or a Shandy in the winter. Like you said about IPAs, there are so many variations, they’ve become a year round beer. Other year round beers are things like lagers and ales. Comparing a seasonal style to a year round beer isn’t a fair comparison
If you can’t find a stout on tap in the winter, you’re going to the wrong breweries
You have to actually vote to see results. When you do, it says “most readers rated this article center/fair”
