This game looks like it might be fun but I have a suspicion I’d get bored with it and quickly lose interest. A lot of the posts in here seem to back that up. Anybody really enjoy this one or is it kind of just widely regarded as “meh”?

If you’re mechanically inclined, a conversion kit might be the way to go. Bafang is a popular choice, just be sure to get quality batteries too.

I’m kind of amazed that nobody decided to destroy her car or find creative ways of messing her life up, she’s very lucky she didn’t get a lot worse from the cyclists she terrorized (never mind the judge). If it’d happened to me, I don’t think I would have been so understanding and I can be pretty God damned mean (and creative) when I need to be.

Priority Current+ might be up your alley, but IMO you should focus on buying something that works for you and something that is supported by your local bike shop(s) so you can get warranty repairs with minimal hassle, maintenance, parts, etc. If you go with just about any established bike brand that hasn’t been bought out by a venture capital firm, you should be in pretty good shape (think Trek, Marin, Giant, Priority, Specialized, etc.)

Because ICE engines are a robust platform that have pretty much been figured out with an infrastructure to match just about anywhere in the world?

Don’t get me wrong, I think batteries/fuel cells are the future, but in some places, ICE is still the only viable option for some while things catch up.

Also a lot of electric motorcycles are stupid expensive for what they are (granted, in this case we’re already talking about a company that makes expensive rides, but overall, the high costs hurt adoption).

If you’re on anything faster than a class 1 e-bike, some sort of full helmet is a good idea.

On a motorcycle, you should be wear an ECE 22.06 or better helmet with full gear: Dress for the slide, not the ride.
