Historically Tesla’s security is as bad as DOGE’s. They got hacked a while back because they had an unsecured kubernetes control plane exposed to the internet. Apparently being owned by a [edit: seagull managing] drug addict isn’t good for opsec.
EDIT: I incorrectly used a medical term to describe Elon’s management style. Sorry everyone.
I’m going to refuse to agree to the TOU when they try to force it on me. If they block me from using FF without the TOU then I will switch to something else. I think everyone should consider waiting until they try to force a TOU and then rejecting it, if you want to send a strong message.
Don’t worry. I’m sure he’ll get a pardon.
Don’t worry Tesla diamond hands: Trump will announce a “Strategic TSLA reserve buying scheme.”
Too many villains in our society, not enough heros.
Unironically one of the most surprising thing about the current crop of techbros is how anti-intellectual they are. Back in the day Paul Graham published a smarmy essay about how you shouldn’t have possessions except books. Nowadays, I see so many techbros saying “I hate books” and “I never read.”
It’s weird to have your self identity be both I’m smarter than everyone else and also I don’t read. I really am baffled at how they square that circle.
When I was a kid there was a cartoon called Captain Planet.
The bad guys would build these factories that didn’t seem to produce anything but pollution. Like, they would take in trees and sea creatures or whatever, and the only thing that would come out is smog and green water. It was very on-the-nose.
Bitcoin is a pollution factory.

I think pulling the openly trans storyline is bad.
It would have been cringe and counterproductive
I think having the “openly” Christian character is totally fair and reasonable.
It will be cringe and counterproductive.
Disney isn’t a company capable of creating good art anymore. No matter who they try to pander to, it will be shallow, tired, and insufferable.
the issue here is
The issue is Mozilla’s McKinsey CEO has decided to break the promise not to sell personal data.
If Firefox disappears. Mozilla isn’t Firefox, it’s the organization staffed with ad-tech and McKinsey ghouls and paid by Google to kill Firefox.
The equally hilarious thing is that currently they have the “never will” promise in the same codebase as the “definitely will” gated by a “TOU” flag, showing intent to violate the promise.
After they censored all the republicans there was nothing new left…
Thanks Obama.
Seriously, the Obama administration loved this guy even though it was obvious to a lot of us that he was a total grifter. The Starship/Artemus plan made no sense but got selected anyway.
Eh, the “savior” in that case would be JD Vance.
I’m guessing that hyper-defensiveness is probably a survival tactic at Tesla.
Things actually broke through there during the Elon/Vivek h1 blowup over Christmas, but that all got cleaned up quickly.
The swing if you look at consecutive yougov polls was 8 points. That’s a lot in just two weeks!
They will edit Google Maps to show Canada and Greenland as part of the US, and Ukraine as part of Russia.
