1 year agoIf Sancho wants to move, he has to accept lower wages. Can’t have the cake and eat it. Maybe he will appreciate how well UTD are paying him. Personally I see Players hold their clubs to ransom. They cost millions to sign then have a 5 or 6 year deal and in that time can just be idiots and the club is stuck. Your investment goes up in smoke, and you are tied by a contract which you can’t get out of. I would insist that in any contract if a player is on disciplinary action he goes down to half pay.
If it’s just to championship,.players will stay as it will just be one season. It will be ridiculous as with a simple punishment like that, would mean the cheating was worth it. Personally it the PL and FA want clubs to be strict on their financials etc the punishment has to be harsh enough to deter so imho 3 years banned from playing and then restart from National league. Rangers for a much lesser offence were demoted to the lowest division.
