It doesn’t look AI at first glance, the dudes are too out of focus. What makes you say it’s AI?

Right, now do female employment rate. 57% in the US vs 13% in Iran. What good is having a higher education if you’re then expected to sit at home while your husband remains the only breadwinner? This post is just cherry picked propaganda.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Wafrn.net admins on age verificationEnglish
1·2 months agoI thought it was quite clear. Verifying your age with an alcohol purchase receipt is a dumb idea for a large variety of reasons, including ease of acquiring one, ease of copying images, ease of printing one yourself and the cumulative ease of doing all this without an actual adult willingly involved in your scheme. It’s is not nearly as fool proof as verifying government ID.
Of course, I’m against all invasive forms of age verification. Doesn’t mean I’m going to advocate for a rally bad alternative either.
At the very least, it reflects on his own relationships with other women.

World News@lemmy.ml•How do you say "illegal war of aggression"?
137·2 months agoYou are being insufferable. Cherry picking terms to support your nebulous narrative all so you can feel smug about leftist politicians and redditors. When Trump denies you your vote and ICE picks up your neighbors, who will you “No true Scotsman” then?

Not to detract from your project, which looks cool!
And when they do, the dictator will proclaim domestic terrorism and use it as an excuse to up the violence and brutality.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do you believe people should have the right to self-destruct if they want to?
26·4 months agoYes, but…
Many people on self destructive paths, especially those who are addicted, close themselves off to the perspectives that others can bring. They literally do not see any other path as worthwhile other than the one they’ve committed themselves to and the thought that another path might be even more worthwhile, or the thought of being judged for their current path, short circuits some decision making.
I believe in autonomy but I also believe many people could use help to find a path that suits them even better.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What words are you already tired of seeing repeated almost on a constant basis?
492·4 months ago‘Slop’ is fine, it’s short and to the point and describes something for which we don’t quite have another word yet (in the context of AI) and which definitely needs to enter the public consciousness.
Agree on ‘Slams’ though.
