MS used this to full effect making their software so easy to pirate and all keys were easily found online. It didn’t affect them but only help because every student trained on MS office, taking those skills into the workforce and for which companies paid for a commercial licence.

Man I hate that people like that guy have kids who have no say in their treatment.

Yeah, his justification is “if you were the kid, would you want to do everything to try and make you better? After the TV series (which got weaker as it went on), there was a huge surge in its popularity but that quickly declined when new players saw the amount of hours they had to put in to play and explore.

There is no doubt that these new games will be aimed squarely at monetising those players and not its pre-existing fanbase.
