Asking for a friend, how is gaming on linux with pirated games and the whole virus situation? About a decade ago I read that viruses could break out of the VM sandbox.

Yeah, his justification is “if you were the kid, would you want to do everything to try and make you better? (think non-verbal needs 24/7 care and probably no chance of improvement ever)”… which I feel for, but when the kid is crying and screaming when he’s having stuff done to him, I think that’s a very clear answer.

I agree totally…
… apparently he believes that there’s research that shows that autism and heavy metal poisoning are linked… He even sent off for a kit that tested the poor kid’s urine / poop and it came back positive so off he went to an European country to do it… He believes that facebook groups are genuinely ahead of scientists, and doing what they don’t want us to know.

You ain’t gonna stop corporate-created climate issues by eating one or two fewer cows. In fact, nothing you can do, will.
EDIT: Wow, lots of corporate troll bots downvoting me for not singing their song. Only the hugely polluting companies can make a difference, not individuals.

There is no doubt that these new games will be aimed squarely at monetising those players and not its pre-existing fanbase.

MS used this to full effect making their software so easy to pirate and all keys were easily found online. It didn’t affect them but only help because every student trained on MS office, taking those skills into the workforce and for which companies paid for a commercial licence.
