Eggland’s Best and Land O’ Lakes

That’s good to hear! Cosmic looks really great, but I’m gonna have to wait since the laptop is meant to be a personal machine for my partner to use.

If the XML standard is overly complex, does that mean it’ll be a bigger pain for MS employees to maintain? Sounds like cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face.

I installed it on my old laptop. I’m happy it’s breathing new life into it, but the Pop_Shop is SO SLOW.
Suffering from success?
Would be nice if there was an artist signature or something that we could reference.
Definitely noticed that with Mastodon – there’s not a whole lot of folks talking/reacting with one another. I suspect it’s related to the user base (doesn’t have critical mass, demographics, or activity) or a discoverability issue. Bluesky, on the other hand, has a whole lot more engagement on a host of topics.

The best they can do is probably close their Canadian/Mexican plants if the losses are too great, which would increase unemployment in those areas for not only the automotive factories, but also the ones for the automotive suppliers. Even if a Chinese company swoops in to buy the factories, it’d take time to set things up.
They did that when the TPP was scraped too.

Cheap USBs mean cheap read/writes.
Makes me think of the episode of Batman Beyond called “Shriek.”

As producers, whatever [Marvel] didn’t spend, they kept. So every time we wanted to add something to the show to make it better, it was a fistfight
Oh that explains a bunch.

If you’re going on a long road trip, yes.
Yeah for the same price as the color option you could get a Garmin Vivoactive on a sale.

Isn’t that the FCC?

I figured it was related to the hardware architecture, but I’m curious if this is for security reasons (potential exploits that the OS can’t resolve) and/or just a support bandwidth concerns managing 2 OS code bases (on top of the obvious revenue from new licenses).
If the hardware security isn’t the issue, then switching to Linux is a good money saving choice for those that are tech savvy.
Gotta take mandatory breaks at least every 4 hours.
I mean at a subconscious level, they have feelings for each other – a good chunk of the show is them dancing around that concept. That being said, all they both know is that it’s a marriage of convenience – neither knows the full identity of the other.
Yor constantly worries she won’t measure up to Loid’s needs, and that’s a risk to government scrutiny by the secret police. Loid worries his relationship with Yor doesn’t look airtight, and could compromise Operation Strix. Everything they do publicly to prove their relationship is legit is an act in which any enjoyment is a secondary benefit (like the scene above).
But…Loid and Yor are faking it to avoid scrutiny.
Will need multiple semesters for that shit.
