I don’t know, but for Germany that seems way too high. Maybe I just don’t see all the indoor cats in the cities (where more than 75% of the people live).
But which separator is it, and which line ending? ASCII, UTF-8, UTF-16 or something else? What about quoting separators and line endings? Yes, there is an RFC, but a million programs were made before the RFC and won’t change their ways now.
Also you can gzip CSV and still stream them.
How many decimal places would you like to see? I think it’s pretty normal to get only one, see e.g. https://www.tagesschau.de/wahl/archiv/2021-09-26-BT-DE/index.shtml
This. OP, get an M.2 NVME SSD in 2280 or 2260 size. Then you can add a SATA drive later, when/if you need it.
