I looked around for a good long while and did not find anything online for andriod at all… However that doesn’t mean there isn’t any out there, i might have just missed it, or maybe there’s an app that can do it but doesn’t really advertise.
There are free closed source and ad supported stuff gallore, Giphy, for example. You may need to go outside FOSS to find what you need.
Or, there are Open and Free PC tools.
Sorry, good luck.

Videos@lemmy.world•Woman tries to stop looters in France
123·14 days agoBad people distort narratives regardless of the actions of others… No matter what she did, my first wife was always the victim. DARVO is a thing, identify it and ignore it. These people looting a market for resources after a long night of rioting does not disqualify their complaints. Their complaints must be evaluated and addressed independently of their reaction to the original violation against them.
During riots, people often loot markets for food and water. Which makes perfect sense: they aren’t carrying a lot of resources and a night of high adrenaline rioting will exhaust and dehydrate people.
The only real solution is to provide access to cheap or free food and water throughout and after, but who is going to do that?
The stores themselves could lock up the pricey stuff and offer water access and cheapo food stuff, ask for payment, but not lock their doors or make a huff if people don’t pay. But they’d have to plan for it, and not every business is going to be riot savey.
Besides, most biz are covered by insurance, so not really a big deal.

4·24 days agoEvery day stuff out, or if having stuff often for a few weeks, like being on a toast binge.
But if not using for over a week most stuff should be put away.
We keep microwave and instapot accessible, but toaster is really a few times a year thing. Blender is probably more often, but still rare.

Progressive Politics@lemmy.world•Poll: Voters grow more concerned about capitalism, but they’re still wary of socialism and the DSA
2·1 month agoThey ones most against it are the ones that own the propeganda machines… They know exactly what socialism is, and they budget a percent of their revenue annually, and especially during election times, to systematically undermine the pleebs ability to make informed decisions about their future… Their reasons for doing this are obvious, they are criminals, and they should be in jail, or some cemetaries burial logbook.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.ca•qBittorrent keeps doing this thing where at some point, everything stops downloading and the download/upload rates become static but still nothing is actually active anymore?
2·1 month agoI find I regularly have to restart it or restart the networking bits by changing a network setting then restoring it.
If anything with networking gets messed up, it just stops.
My old app used to reconnect properly after a glitch, but not qBittorrent.
You might be dealing with a similar issue.
It doesn’t happen often, maybe once a week, so it’s not the end of the world for me, but it sucks.

Lemmy.world Support@lemmy.world•Blorp seems buggy and causes blank pages on reload. How do I fix this?
1·1 month agoI liked the idea of blorp, and the logo… But alas, the dev turned out to be a nasty POS, so instead of trying to troubleshoot issues or help him improve the tool by reporting issues, I just uninstalled it and migrated to Summit.
My suggestion is to use a better tool made by better devs.

Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•The trash cans in Amsterdam have pizza slots
1·1 month agoUsually my pizza comes on wax paper or the like, and the box is either grease free or close enough (like a tiny spot or two).
Or it’s frozen/refrigerated, and wrapped on plastic, so, again, the box goes in recycle.
I don’t put soiled things in recycle, but you can’t tell, cause it rains often and everything ends up looking fucked.

I have an alt I gamed with back in 2010ish, and I use that for anything at all that I actually do on FB… Like share info and resources, and show support on DeFlock groups. It has literally no connection to me, I connect wholly via VPN and an alt FB app.

That’s all because he started his Star Trek career taking himself far to seriously as an actor: he needed that on hand reminder to lighten the fuck up.
Star Trek was protopian, it needed to present at positive, despite all the conflict that occurs. That means having ‘up’ people on screen, less there’s a damn good reason to be down.
I Just restarted TNG yesterday, you can tell right off that the actors haven’t gotten a grasp on their characters yet. But even the second episode shows a lot of improvement.
