2·15 days agoI’ve got a small handful of random wallpapers I’ve collected over the years, but I’m really picky and almost always end up going with the stock wallpapers. I’m on Debian 13 and I’ve been using this one since Debian 11.

3·21 days agoI think so! I’m pretty sure they still give you 100 free searches to try it out, might be worth test driving before you pay for it. From what I understand it’s mostly Google on the back end with Kagi’s own algorithm. My favorite part about it is being able to rank how the results sort themselves based on sites you want to see more or less of, and some other pretty powerful filters. I definitely think it’s worth a shot if you’re curious.

For the first alarm, I use the default iPhone setting. For the second emergency alarm, I use Entombment of a Machine by Job For A Cowboy. I already wore that song out the better part of 20 years ago and it’s guaranteed to wake you up every time

I’ve been really curious about Ghost lately! I set it up in a container on pikapods not too long ago but I ended up staying on Micro.blog. Something I really liked that I had no idea about beforehand was that they have their own little Discover feed over there right? It felt too serious for me when I mostly run an old school link/microblog kinda blog and it seems SO optimized for mailing lists and subscribers
Neocities isn’t a bad option tbh. I haven’t used it in a minute but if you’re thinking about neocities I really really liked bearblog.dev too!
