I wouldn’t be surprised if Pep stayed and inspired the entire squad to stay too. He’d then be promoted immediately, come straight back up to the Premier League and win that too and it would go down in history like a Leicester situation and nobody would every speak about why they went down, only that they came straight back and the success story.

Does anyone actually care about international football though? I genuinely don’t feel any connection to the English National Team and it seems like every time there is an international break people just seem to be waiting around to watch their clubs again?
