she, her, etc. (for any one or all of us), y’all, you

plural, and may use both “we” and “i”. it’s complicated, but “i” is most often by the girl amongst us who does a lot of the feeling emotions and other stuff, as she is most often “at front”.

more about that

that girl (we will call her tani) runs much of the show, and does a lot of the feeling and perception, but a lot less thinking. while most thoughts posted are contributed to by multiple of us, tani’s thoughts in particular are again, more emotional. examples: “we love the pretty views” and “i wanna snuggle our plushies so badly”. the former could be shared across many of us, but for the latter, many of us do not do that direct decision making to begin with; really only tani does.

still, others of us may use “i” too!

  • fun storytime:

back in rural maine when we were like 10 we lived in a little studio apartment above a bar and the fire station was right next to us. we were given an assignment in school to like write about the local services (think water, snow plows, etc.) or something of the like, with part of the assignment being to get photos.

so we just like walked over to the fire station and explained the situation and they were INCREDIBLY awesome and let us sit in the cab and look under it at the engine and stuff of a couple of their vehicles, it was like so SO cool. it being a very small “town” we even got to drive one of the ambulances around a little!!! (sadly the fire engines were deemed too big)

  • mm wouldn’t exactly say piles, the people there didn’t seem brave enough to put most of the conceivably used stuff out. there was still some opportunity though!

in total we’d reckon we picked up about five twelfths of a bushel of stuff, mostly implements of restraint but also a nice little hitachi wand and some very aesthetically fitting garter straps. plus a few nipple clamps 'cause the sellers probably didn’t know they were also for similar activities.

I proudly show off our new spanking horse …

usually the university students here don’t have that much actual bondage stuff (mostly just penetrative toys) but perhaps they just might have these due to how nicely they look to work with those sex machines. we prioritize comfort so its probably wouldn’t really be our jam though? but who knows. or maybe it could be! only one way to find out ofc…

    on the car’s roof rack

not owning a car, our options are really only the (fare-free) public transit bus or the bicycle and both of them seem equally funny to bring such a thing home by

  • one of our collars used to be for one of our cats but for some reason she hated it in particular but it still looked really cute when we tried it on in the mirror (a couple years ago) and so we figured it would probably look cute on others as well. and it has. do see @SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone’s note about pet collars though!

another was from an estate sale with a little new-in-box bdsm gear. it is more “purpose-built” and is a bit wider and quite better for pulling and stuff. we actually also got a cute little pink choker with spikes from there too and have used it as a collar too but its not the best.

we have also gotten a couple from a local shop which specializes mostly in leather boots and stuff but offers collars too in good sizes!

our favorite impromptu leash is the detachable strap on our handbag, but we got one from that estate sale too (its literal garbage though), also one from that aforementioned store, and a couple from a pet shop. we have also cleaned up and used a stainless steel chain harvested from a broken engine hoist.

may your uh, friend enjoy :3

  • oh y’all is totally ok. still thnx so much, you’re the first to have ever asked!! that means a fair bit to us.

going a little more in depth, in short we are sapphic and the person we were snuggling with is a boy. and like we are totally okay with snuggling and stuff but we really really don’t want them to get it in their head that we are a romantic opportunity(s).

they are also very very starved for attention & touch so we are unsure they have that self restraint—they are very puppy-like in that regard! we really do care about them and we just don’t want them to become really sad if they end up attempting that route and get told no.

oh well, will hopefully sleep soon and stop imagining my own posts happening to be ans getting all giddy about it

you deserve some plushies girl! plus if you are bringing others to your bed, they’re bound to enjoy the additional company too =^.^=

  • this certainly brings up some thoughts, given how much of that bulleted stuff we did with a friend yesterday (especially that last one). it feels wrong to talk about it openly on the internet so we won’t delve into it here, but your writing really… helps.

its not like anything bad happened, it was really fun and awesome!! there have just been some conflicting thoughts amongst us about, like, what our friend may expect and stuff, cuz we aren’t into them romantically. at all.

your notion of progression puts our varying thoughts into so much more perspective, even if it was said for markedly different reasons.

    really, thank you <3

on a less brain-intensive note, this abstract sorta art style is really really pretty!!! well so is your art in general hehe. but as far as more abstract stuff goes this actually has meaning to us.

    hope your breakfast is yummyy!

  • sadly the diffusion layers and sheer number of light sources work against that. due to how rear projection TVs work though perhaps what you are talking about can be done with one of them!! certainly gonna write down this thought for the future

also, thank you for the continued enthusiasm. it really really does mean a lot to us for someone to actually find what we do like… actually cool and interesting. ^//w//^

  • well, in short, this electrical transformer lowers the input voltage by 26 times, but because of P = VI (power = volts × amps) the amps must go up by 26 times, and P = I2R (power dissipated (heat output) = amps squared × resistance, assuming R is constant) makes them become very very violent in an arc fault (kinda like a short circuit; the power gets concentrated in one place) on the secondary (“output”) side.

in reality its a bit more complicated and R is probably not going to be constant but either way that little 2 means you are going to have a very bad time if this secondary (which is almost certainly supplying gobs of power) has an arc fault.

the 391 cal/cm^2 and “Flash hazard at 18 in” means that if you have your hand 18 inches (45 cm) away from the secondary, it is estimated that every square centimeter of something (skin) exposed in the direction of it will receive 391 calories of energy in an arc fault. one calorie is the amount of energy needed to heat one milliliter (1 cm3 of water) by 1 degree celcius.

dividing out the cm2, this means that such an arc fault has enough energy to theoretically heat your exposed skin up uniformly by 391 degrees celcius to a depth of one centimeter. again, reality differs—it will not be exactly 391 calories, it will not be uniform, and your skin will be beyond burnt!

of course, that’s not even getting into the explosions and stuff that would also take place that result in the “NO SAFE PPE EXISTS” label, where PPE is personal protective equipment.

the solution to eliminating the hazard here if you absolutely must get near this transformer is to turn it off (deenergize it) so you don’t need the PPE. but there have been some interesting situations in history with immensely hazardous objects that were deemed necessary to approach and couldn’t be disabled, where it was dangerous to the point those around simply didn’t wear PPE because it would do nothing. the harvey casino bomb comes to mind!

  • TYYYY you have no idea how much we needed that right now, custom android roms are being a major point of pain currently ljsdhfkshfdgjkshfdglkjg (the XDA forums are still absolutely wonderful though). the plushies are helpful but it really does help to be affirmed like this by a sweetheart like you :3

    please have a beautiful day/night/whatever <33
