  • Or the citizens could just stand up to Putin, finally. If they’re going to lose citizens to this war, you might as well make your own war as a war against Putin. More worth the effort and you’d get rid of that asshole.

But unfortunately, Russians would rather fall in line and blindly follow what they’re told to do. Even if it means sending them to the meat grinder, losing your sons, father, brothers, etc. and for what? Donbas? Seriously?

Just keep being a good worker, Russia.

  • No one asked for this game.

No one wanted a Marathon game that didn’t center around a main PvE campaign.

No one wants Bungie to chase trends.

Bungie used to create the moulds that everyone else used to create games; they were the trend setters. Starting the last couple years of Destiny 2, they forgot how to be creative and instead started chasing trends and turning Destiny 2 into something it wasn’t:

    • Oh, you want metroidvania style gaming, Bungie literally turned you into the Metroid ball and threw in Castlevania-style mechanics
    • You want roguelike/roguelight? They create The Nether and The Coil.
    • You like Star Wars? Bungie gave you light sabers and turned the Cabal into fat storm troopers and turned Dredgen into sith crybabies.
    • Not to mention all the collaboration skins that made no sense in the world of Destiny 2.

Bungie has no identity any more. Anyone who made their identity in the past is gone. They have a barebones team who are running out of duct tape to prop up the only remaining game they have that no one wants to play, no one asked for and no one gives a shit about.

Sony shutdown the wrong game and has the absolute worst business sense I’ve ever seen lately (ditching physical discs, shutting down D2 over Marathon, raising PS+ prices for new subsribers, no longer releasing single player games on PC, etc.).

Bungie won’t last a year. Blame Pete Parsons’ greed. Blame Herman Hulst and Sony’s inability to give gamers what they want. Doesn’t matter. The writing’s on the wall for that studio and it’s a fucking shame.
