I see what you’re saying and I think that’s called the Von Restorff effect, but I’ve deliberately focused on checking if this happens more often than not and it does. I haven’t found an explanation yet, but you’d think it’d take about the same amount of time since the tasks are nearly identical in procedure (sending a package, using the ATM, using the hotel reception…). It’s interesting.

5·1 month agoGenuine answer: organizing with your fellow people, and forming communities. It’s not an accident that seems such a monumental task today when historically it was the only reason people survived hardship.

Christian nationalists love a nazi, identity politics only matter when it’s not “one of us”. Moreover, he doesn’t promote gay or trans rights, because he’s above all that could technically hinder him if he wasn’t megarich. He doesn’t care, because it doesn’t affect him. He’s already won.

What a truly terrible, terrible country.
I hear you, and that’s the semantically correct term, but the issue transcends pure semantics. Considering the beauty standards set for women (thin, hairless, weak, what have you) it’d be foolish to not consider the idea that fetishizing qualities that signal (pre-pubescent) youth doesn’t have anything to do with pedophilia. Sugar babies / models tend to adhere to these standards, and billionaires tend to go for them.
It’s crazy how we’re not focusing on the borderline paedophilic 70 year old billionaire who just has to have 20 year old sugar babies
