If the game doesn’t a demo or a refund period, then I don’t see a problem with it.

It’s a trap, to train the LLM to know where you’ll hide.

lmao, that mod labelled you as a “reddit agent” when you’ve been on the fediverse for 3+ years and 5.69k comments 🤣

Looks like a chill dude I’d drink a beer with.

You’d have a better experience with using LUKS encryption on your live bootable environment.

Please refer to lemmy.ca instance rule #2 re: civility

Argue in good faith, attack the argument; not the person, and promote a healthy debate. That includes implying violence, threats or wishes of violence and/or death.

Find content that is against their service providers TOS and report them. Don’t have much of a platform if the host / CDN doesn’t want to have them as a client.

Even worse is that having a fair living wage and decent social services is seen as the big meany communism

Most private trackers have a point system where you accumulate points that you can exchange for upload credit, as a mean to provide an incentive to keep less popular torrents active.

That way you can build up your ratio without downloading stuff you don’t want.

BitTorrent is a good middle ground between decentralization, adoption and user-friendliness. I think the transport layer is pretty solid, and there’s no need to stick an anonymity layer at the protocol level, as the preferred method might change over time.

Combined with a VPN to handle the anonymity part, I think it’s solid and modular enough.

It mostly took cowardice from upsetting the executive branch of the government.

No need to override Congress when its members act like a doormat.

Hopefully it sunburns.

Personally I don’t mind it too much, as long as

• there’s no vote manipulation to artificially boost the post
• there are genuine interactions in the comments
• the account posting this is properly labelled as a bot account (if it’s an actual bot)

The content creators won’t make the effort unless they have some way to monetize their views though.

It’s the only sensible strategy, don’t give them anything to look at.

Kash Patel: 😏

I’d probably do what I already do in my spare time: enjoys my hobbies, keep learning, do some volunteering and keep myself in shape. I’d just be able to dedicate more time.
