I get that we need some regulation, what I’m saying is these regulations create an environment where we’re spending a lot of money and wasting resources that could be spent elsewhere.

Let’s say you had a settlement for $250,000 as proposed in one of the regulations. What is the family actually see from that payout? What’s $250,000 to a corporation that’s worth billions upon billions of dollars? Of that settlement how much of it goes to lawyers? How much resources do the state courts expand on seeing each one of those cases? How much time does it take before the victim sees any of those funds from the payout?

Let’s say kid is traumatized and needs therapy and the parents can’t afford it. Does that mean they’re gonna have to wait six months for the courts to decide? Are the parents expected to pay for therapy out of pocket and hope they get reimbursed later?

The real question is what happens to the victim and how do they benefit from going through all of the bureaucracy and courts to get any sort of settlement?

Just because there’s some new government regulations doesn’t mean it actually addresses the underlying problem. It just creates several new problems.

None of this matters, unless it leads to some sort of consequences. Which they have shown that they are basically immune since they own the courts.

Don’t worry, the Democratic establishment will figure out a way to quickly fuck this up before the midterm elections.

I’m sure they will choose a panel of milquetoast corporate centrist neo-liberal fuck wads for the people to choose from and again blame it on voter apathy. add a little corporate campaign, finance rule, bending to funnel the most amount of money towards their desired candidate and you have the classic recipe for “ Why do Democrats always lose elections?”

DNC leadership still hasn’t learned anything from the last several elections. They still want to push voters towards their “chosen” and favored candidates. Too bad the voters want something other than corporate center right establishment shills.

Harris was and is still a terrible candidate. No one likes her, And no one is going to vote for a former attorney general and lawyer from California. Not a chance.

Newsom is great for California, but most of the country doesn’t like California’s politics so he’s a hard sell even without his corporate background.

I really wish the Democratic Party would stop telegraphing their already decided candidates that you will be allowed to vote for. This is why Kamala Harris lost, why people didn’t like Biden, and this is why people didn’t like Hillary.

The DNC leadership hasn’t given the people a true primary with viable likable candidates for well over 20 years. None of the candidates had any good policies that resonated with people, they’re just milquetoast corporate centrists who want to keep everything the same and not address any of the problems that people actually face.

Obama was just a fluke that they eventually manipulated into compliance.
