How much have you spent paying Spotify to own absolutely nothing?
The same way anybody did before Spotify? Listen to something, if you like it then buy it, if you don’t then don’t.
They’re either a troll or stupid, imagine going shopping and paying for everything you looked at or touched.
Acting like Spotify is good for artists at all is just insane

232·1 month agoI went to the Verizon store to buy an iPhone when the droid first launched, the rep said “you don’t want that phone, check this one out” and showed me the droid. So glad I didn’t get roped into that ecosystem.
I still miss CyanogenMod dearly…
Protontricks makes it much easier to tell which steam folder is which game, but its still annoying

1·1 month agoSounds awesome, thank you. I tried it years ago and I’m pretty sure at that point they just said there’s no support for it. It was the main holdout for me, never cared about the nfc payments really, so I’m excited to try it out again

3·1 month agoHelix is my favorite, it does everything I want a text editor to do and it’s much more intuitive than vim/nvim. I was never a power user of either so I’m sure it’s missing plenty of functionality that nvim users are used to but it’s perfect for my use cases.

It’s definitely worth at least checking out the free trial, it’s the best music player I’ve ever used on any platform. The dev is also very active and there are new features dropping constantly
