Using a free listener supported radio app that is curated by human DJs has been how I’ve enjoyed music for years now. Examples are KEXP, The Current and Radio Paradise.

I agree that you may be having this personal experience. On the other hand, I am not and have been using iOS for many years. The difference could be that I intentionally stay very informed about iOS.

I, personally, will not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

However, if you believe that you will have better experiences using Android, then please make the switch.

Back in 2007 (After many years of making a career out of using Microsoft/Windows products) I started using Linux and MacOS/iOS exclusively and have never looked back.

I have very little experience and/or knowledge of Android. So, I can’t comment on that.
