The joke here isn’t necessarily that he’s a bad husband, it’s that he’s a contractor and they rarely if ever stick to the due dates of building projects and going over timeframes is a common complaint from homeowners. Just trying to clarify the joke since the outrage seems a bit overkill.

5·7 个月前I came here to post almost word for word this exact sentiment I wasn’t prepared with Idiocracy crossed with the the 4th Reich. I mean all the roadmap led us here but God it’s so much stupider than I imagined it would be.
I just wish that any regulators had the fortitude to actually enforce anything to protect the common citizenry. I won’t hold my breath though, I don’t have enough capital to pay them off.
My biggest concern with UBI is price increases across every metric to account for it, like what happened when women entered the workforce. It used to be that a family could survive on a single paycheck but after decades the corporations and resources realized they could charge almost double and still get it. I worry it would be the same with UBI.

2·8 个月前I finished The Artful Escape, and it was such a fun self contained experience. I don’t think it’s very expensive at all but I HIGHLY recommend it for a thoughtful musically fun journey.
