Are 3 and 4 a flashback explaining his thoughts or a later event meant to demonstrate something? What if so? The shift in angle from 3 to 4 makes it unclear how far the package was actually carried. I have no idea what I was meant to take away from this.

There was a very good interview with some people from the KY Tennants union on the latest trillbillies.
