I’ve engaged in this debate in the past. Even started some threads and caused accidental fires. I’m not doing that anymore. It’s unhealthy for the threadiverse. Just pick and use what you like. If you don’t like it anymore, switch to something else. If it speaks ActivityPub, it’s all good. We need more fediversing, more decentralization and less drama.

In case someone is looking for a solution, I fixed it like this:

Removed the game completely, installed Lutris, went to https://lutris.net/games/apotris/ and installed the Linux version from there. Now it can be launched through Lutris and all settings save as expected.
