🙋♀️ grew up with a religious mother, went to church every Sunday, did bible study and got baptized as a teenager. Then I went to college and continued reading the Bible on my own. Without anyone else shaping/interpreting what I read, I quickly disagreed with the text. It was interesting to see how much the church’s interpretation can differ from your own when reading the same text
I was studying computer science then, and I’m working as a software engineer now, so probably just as expected. Probably thought I would have gotten married and had kids younger but otherwise life has been…boring
What is the goal of Lumon and Kier? I didn’t really get it. Was Mark the only one who could work on Gemma’s files? If so, what were the rest of MDR doing?
We call it panekuk in Indonesian I believe, based on the Dutch word. I’m more familiar with the American version growing up although that might just be because of American media. Also loved poffertjes as a kid (tiny versions of pancake). I don’t know if there’s an Indonesian spelling for that one.
I live in Australia and that’s normal here too. Probably a question my current neighbor asked the first time we met (he saw us moving stuff in) and he’s the nicest guy.
I misread pensioners as prisoners. Was really worried about what they do in prisons over there. Then got to the comments saying “this is common” and I reread the title a couple times before it clicked. Wow I need sleep.
I tried using the Leaf for a couple weeks. It was interesting.
I guess I should stop interacting with Reels
I’m on Voyager too, might be client specific then.
In case you had the same issue I did, it worked for me using !Football@lemm.ee (uppercase first letter) but I couldn’t subscribe if it’s all lowercase
I can’t find Sports Night and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip by Aaron Sorkin anywhere in Australia.
I might be wrong but I think 28x28 is 16x(7x7) instead of 4x. It should be 7x7x4 instead of (7x4)x(7x4)
What’s with the 1m value and why are all tech companies doing it?
I know I’m being pedantic but I just thought it’s interesting that you said “there’s not a car in sight” when I thought the primary concern was drivers not paying attention to pedestrians crossing the street.
However, why is it more stupid to sit there when there’s not a car on sight only when turning right but not when going straight or turning left? There’s an argument for larger roads with many lanes, sure, but isn’t it the same when it’s only 1-2 lane roads?

The apartments with pets thing, in my building currently there’s an owner who put their dog out in the balcony at night and it would just bark for hours. I sleep at around midnight with barking in the background. I don’t even know until how late it usually does it
