My advice is don’t risk exposing yourself to the material. It’s devastating, and part of me has shriveled and died knowing what’s happening.

One of the biggest figures (who kicked off a recent movement of cat-related zoosadism in China) got shanked by a woman recently, but unfortunately he didn’t die before she took her own life. Purportedly it was completely unrelated, and he was just a random bystander during a knife attack. Or that’s the spin, because it’s building into a social powder keg right now over there, from my understanding.

I hope with all my being he dies of complications or sepsis.

I personally say face them against a wall, but I know that overall people don’t like that solution.

The videos were so unthinkably horrific that they offered counseling to everyone that had to watch them as part of the investigation and case. Yet they gave the people involved (not just Poklek, a few other women) the equivalent of a slap on the wrist.

Zoosadism makes me so violently angry. And modern social platforms like Telegram and Discord have just fueled the distribution (and thus production) of it like wildfire. The one that gets me the most is the prolific cat torture going on in China, due to virtually zero animal rights laws.

Fuck this gay earth.

• Going to bed early
• No alcohol
• A good weekday stretching routine
• Not making social plans on Sundays (assuming a Mon-Fri work week)

I suppose that’s a solution, but you’re also doubling your responsibilities, and the price of the groceries still stays too damn high.

My only complaint were the ones I experienced in Japanese konbini, which has you scan your purchases, but you had to wait until after payment to bag them. Once this really patient, wonderful local couple showed me what I was doing wrong, it was okay. But still an unfortunate hiccup in their process.

That’s sometimes part of the awkwardness. My additional gripes are completely pedantic, but hear me out:

None of the grocery chains in my area offer bagging services, so I have to wait for the attendant to scan my items, bag them myself, and then shuffle back to the register to pay. None of this is a problem, except that the human attendant rarely ever scans the items in the order that makes sense to bag them. So there’s the weird dance of waiting, pushing items aside, etc.

If I’m doing self-check, I can scan and bag using my own patented autistic process ™ that is quick, makes sense, and doesn’t crush things, and I can do it in one shot.

Weird brag to admit you can’t figure out the self-checkout and Fisher Price level UI that audibly shouts at you what to do next.

I used https://redact.dev/ though I recall having to buy a year license to use it to it’s full potential. It however was very effective.

As someone who finds interacting with register attendants painful, and doesn’t steal, this is unfortunate news.
