Did you guys stick around when you weren’t being paid?
Yes, because there was a guarantee backing of some sort so we knew the money would eventually come through. Plus the school was so depressing she couldn’t leave her students. We even spent a few hundred dollars on supplies the school couldn’t provide to the classroom or students. There were students that were pretty much homeless, from abusive families, and/or absolutely broke. We didn’t have much, but she understood these kids really needed her.
