IT WAS JUST A BOOTY CALLLLLLLLLLLL
My friend and I in our early teens were alone in his house. He had a really pimped pc for the time. 450mhz cpu, 21" crt monitor, 4.1 surround sound from creative, dvd drive, etc.
We played Unreal in a fully dark room. Got to a long tunnel and about mid way this slow clunk noise started behind us. We turned around and saw that it was the lights that went out one by one. It passes us and when the tunnel is fully dark an alarm starts blaring and a big, fast melee monster (i believe it was named skarj or something like that) is suddenly up in our face. We freaked out hard, paused the game, ran upstairs and didn’t continue the game until the day after with all lights on.
