It seems that Rama has chosen this as the hill he will die on. He is currently serving his 4th term as Prime Minister (since last year), and as a result thinks he is infallible. But the people are increasingly calling for him to resign.

I live in Albania. Nobody here blames Americans for what the elites are doing. They’re pissed at their government for making separate laws for “strategic investors” and the PM Rama being the only person that can grant that status.
