I heard the concept from the Electronic Frontier Foundation and It sounds like one of the end game goals for linux users. Imagine smuggling a €50 laptop component to see the free internet from anywhere on the globe.
Maybe stealing some starlink certificates and building a phased array antenna? Some mapping of the satellites can predict where they are within a year or two, so someone can map the starlink junk in space to communicate with it and take the best satellite with the phased array antenna.
Idk, just thinking.
Almost anywhere. I don’t think it’s practical to maintain satellite coverage above the Arctic or Antarctica, especially since the telescope operators, who are a large portion of the population, would much rather have a clean view.
You could just go starlink or IRIS² ?
