Gwinnett office building near arena axed for hundreds of new rentals Josh GreenFri, 07/17/2026 - 11:08A longstanding office building is in the process of being removed to make way for hundreds of new apartments within quick walking distance of a popular Gwinnett County district for concerts, sporting events, conventions, and theater. Dubbed “Hanover Sugarloaf,” the mixed-use project at 1855 Satellite Boulevard will mark the latest Hanover-branded development in metro Atlanta, following Hanover Edgewood, the 31-story Hanover Midtown luxury tower, and others. Hanover Sugarloaf, as developed by Houston-based Hanover Company, is claiming 7.86 acres and a formerly vacant office building between Satellite Boulevard and Sugarloaf Parkway.
